Summary

We are seeking an Impact Associate to join our growing team. This cross-functional role will play a crucial part in providing connective support across our growth and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Client: Work closely with CapShift’s client leads to help deliver impact investing services to our clients: donor advised fund providers, financial advisors, family offices and foundations. This may will include reporting and data analysis, presentation development, campaign and marketing support, and ongoing customer service.
Business Development: Support response and qualification of new inbound leads, and provide regular analysis of lead generation across the firm
Data & Strategy: Support strategic data projects and desk research on impact areas (e.g., oceans, indigenous peoples) and other relevant topics.
Special Projects: Work directly with the Board and Executive Team on special projects, as needed to meet the goals of a high growth team.Events: Work directly with CapShift leadership and business development teams to play a lead role in coordinating venues, food, and invitation management for our internal and external Boston-area events and beyond.
People: Help organize internal virtual and in-person events and offsites, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to our team culture. Support our recruiting efforts through resume review, job posting, and new employee onboarding as needed.
Office Manager: Create and manage a welcoming and productive virtual and physical office space for our teams, including welcoming guests and managing inbound calls to the company.
Administrative: Support internal and external scheduling across the team and our clients, as well as other administrative support.
Requirements
- Internships or 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Extremely strong attention to detail and management of multiple complex projects on different timelines
- Extraordinary people skills and emotional intelligence to help build a high functioning team
- Strong customer service skills to provide a welcoming touch point for stakeholders engaging with CapShift
- Proactive, collaborative, thoughtful, self-motivated, and able to effectively communicate across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Eager to work on many projects in a high-growth, flexible startup environment in which employees are expected to take on multiple responsibilities
- Strong writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, and comfort with being trained to use CRM technology tools as core to the role
- Experience with Salesforce CRM a bonus (but not required)
- Preference for demonstrated commitment to our mission of social and environmental change
- Flexibility to work in person in West Newton, MA part-time at least 3 days a week, while being available 5 days a week to respond to urgent requests.
