U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen Confirmed as OFN Conference Speaker
OFN is thrilled to announce U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen will join us virtually for the 2021 OFN Conference in October!
On June 15, OFN President and CEO Lisa Mensah had the honor of joining Secretary Yellen at the White House as Vice President Harris announced $1.25 billion in CDFI Fund Rapid Response Grants for CDFIs. Mensah also joined Secretary Yellen and Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo on June 30 for an informal roundtable discussion on the state of the economy with a cross-section of national advocacy, corporate, and thought leaders from the Black community.
A champion for economic inclusion and CDFIs, Secretary Yellen will share her insights about the Administration’s efforts to repair longstanding structural inequities in our economy and how CDFIs are critical to this work. OFN is deeply grateful to Secretary Yellen for participating in this year’s OFN Conference and for her ongoing commitment to promoting opportunity for all.
