OFN Webinar Recap – Resourcing the Child Care Sector

On March 3, OFN hosted “Resourcing the Child Care Sector: How TA and Partnerships Can Support Financing in Your Local Market.” This webinar looked at how CDFIs are utilizing tools and resources to support the child care organizations in their local markets through community engagement and partnerships.

The panel – led by LISC’s Bevin Parker-Cerkez and Erin Cox, Coastal Enterprises Inc.’s Cynthia Murphy, IFF’s Jeff Henze, and Child Care Aware of America’s Tracy Vergason – shared examples of how three diverse CDFIs addressed provider needs by engaging with local stakeholders and partnering with other technical assistance agencies to market and develop financial products and other comprehensive supports. The webinar concluded with an interactive Q&A for attendees and panelists.
