Six Grow with Google Small Business Loans, Google.org Grants Announced
As the COVID-19 crisis continues, CDFIs are best positioned to help small minority and women-owned businesses survive and recover from the pandemic’s economic impact. Google has partnered with OFN to help bridge deep gaps in access to capital for many of these businesses.
Through the Grow with Google Small Business Fund (New Window) and Google.org-funded grants, OFN and Google are bringing significant investment and grant capital to CDFIs working around the clock to help small businesses survive and recover from the pandemic-related economic crisis.
OFN is pleased to announce six CDFIs have received Grow with Google Small Business Fund loans and Google.org-funded grants in our most recent round of awards.
- ACT! Albany Community Together, Inc. (New Window) ($1 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan and $150,000 Google.org funded grant)
- African Development Center (New Window) ($1.5 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan and $250,000 Google.org funded grant)
- Entrepreneur Fund (New Window) ($2 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan and $125,000 Google.org funded grant)
- Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation (New Window) ($5 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan)
- Metropolitan Economic Development Association (Meda) (New Window) ($5 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan and $425,000 Google.org funded grant)
- TruFund (New Window) ($1 million Grow with Google Small Business Fund loan and $150,000 Google.org funded grant)
