Urge Congress to Support $1 Billion for the CDFI Fund!

With the release of President Biden’s initial budget proposal last month and the expected release of the full budget document next week, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 appropriations season is underway. Congress has started the process of holding hearings on the FY 2022 budget request for federal agencies, and activity will ramp up in the House and Senate over the summer.
Now is the time to reach out to your Members of Congress to tell them about the impact CDFIs have in your community. Take Action!
In the past year, CDFIs have stepped up to serve customers devastated by the concurrent health, racial, and economic crises facing our nation. To continue to address these challenges, CDFIs need sustained investment of at least $1 billion in annual appropriations to the CDFI Fund.
