Business Expansion Funding Corp.
Charlotte, North Carolina
Since 1982, BEFCOR has been offering SBA 504 loans and other small business loans to entrepreneurs in rural North Carolina. The organization became a certified CDFI in 2021.
FSC First
Upper Marlboro, Maryland
Founded in 1978 in Prince George’s County, FSC First offers 12 lending programs serving Maryland area businesses. The CDFI’s values can be represented by the word “First” in their name: Flexible. Integral. Results-driven. Strategic. Trustworthy.
Invest PGH, Inc.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
A new CDFI established in 2020, Invest PGH offers both a microloan and accelerated business expansion loan option to business owners in Pittsburgh.
Miami Bayside Foundation
Miami, Florida
Since 1986, MBF has been a source of funding for minority-owned businesses in Miami. MBF has also provided 747 scholarships to Miami students.
Prestamos CDFI, LLC
Phoenix, Arizona
Created by Chicanos Por La Causa in 2000, Prestamos is not only a CDFI, but a CDE as well. The organization promotes “economic and community development in order to create jobs, revitalize communities and facilitate community wealth building.”
Spruce Root, Inc.
Juneau, Alaska
Since inception in 2012, former OFN ally Spruce Root has focused on business lending in Southeast Alaska.
Urban Strategies, Inc (USI)
St. Louis, Missouri
Recently certified as a CDFI in 2021, USI is a national organization working to keep children and families stable and thriving by providing equitable and accessible capital, along with financial services and technical assistance.
