Nominations Open for 2021 Ned Gramlich Lifetime Achievement Award for Responsible Finance

In 2007, OFN established the Ned Gramlich Lifetime Achievement Award for Responsible Finance in memory of former board member and former Federal Reserve Board Governor Ned Gramlich. The award recognizes and celebrates a person of distinction who embodies the core purpose of the CDFI industry. The OFN Board of Directors will select the 2021 awardee, who will be invited to speak at the 2021 OFN Virtual Conference in October.

“I am pleased to invite OFN members, allies, and other industry partners to help select the 2021 winner of this prestigious award. Please consider nominating an industry leader who has dedicated her or his life to aligning capital with justice and change,” said OFN President and CEO Lisa Mensah.

Nominees should embody the following characteristics:

  • A career dedicated to the core purpose and values that define opportunity finance
  • An exemplary set of work products in or related to the practice of opportunity finance
  • Appropriate representative of the opportunity finance industry

Please submit your nominations by completing the Nominating Form by Thursday, September 2.

All nominations require two seconds. After completing the Nominating Form, send the Seconding Form link to two colleagues to complete by Friday, September 3. Between the nominator and the seconds, two must come from outside the nominee’s own organization.

Before submitting your nomination, please review the list of prior winners to ensure your nominee has not already been honored with the Gramlich Award. Please note that OFN Board members are not eligible for the award for the duration of their service on the board.
