Summary

The New Hampshire Community Loan Fund is seeking a skilled digital marketer to join its marketing team.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is the team’s lead brand builder and works in strong partnership with our Writer and Content Producer. They are responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop comprehensive planning tools, research the competitive landscape, deliver compelling program collateral, and support the team in growing brand awareness and affinity. They elevate the Community Loan Fund’s goals, inspiring and engaging audiences across a variety of channels.

The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates with the broader External Relations team to develop fundraising programming that serves the team’s content strategy as well as the organization’s fundraising, stewardship, program-growth, policy, and brand-building goals.

In addition to primary responsibilities as our team’s digital expert, the Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the overall efficiency of the marketing team by working collaboratively to achieve team and company goals. By seamlessly integrating the creative and logistical aspects

of the role, this individual helps drive all our marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand experience across all platforms.

Responsibilities

Essential functions

  • Increase awareness and affinity for the Community Loan Fund brand through the management of our digital platforms and tools
  • Administer and optimize all aspects of our website and social media platforms to enhance the organization’s ability to attract new donors, investors, and borrowers, while strengthening current relationships
  • Harness data to identify and develop website, email, and social media content that optimizes user experience and helps meet conversion goals for donors and borrowers
  • Collaborate on the creation and deployment of annual fundraising campaign plans, digital outreach/email campaigns to investors/donors/key stakeholders, quarterly webinars, quarterly newsletters, and any other digital promotional tools/program as needed
  • Ensure proactive and timely messaging through the development and maintenance of the organization’s digital content calendar
  • Support Director of Marketing in the development, design, and roll out of our digital and print annual report(s) and all printed and digital brand collateral
  • Marketing and communications auditor for all digital complaints, acts as an advisor to Compliance Officer for reporting and resolving
  • Help lending programs meet goals by identifying and creating digital content and collateral that effectively speak to their unique target audiences
  • Develop and nurture a deep knowledge of the Community Loan Fund’s programs, the problems they solve, and the constituents they serve
  • Act as a liaison to Information Technology team in the support of domain management, email signature automation, digital business card programming, and other tools as needed
  • Lead the technical deployment of webinars, including the event registration and email management systems
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to establish our senior managers, C-Suite, and program directors as thought leaders in their niches via thoughtful social media strategies and management of their professional digital footprint
  • Act as the Community Loan Fund’s visual brand champion, ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge and tools to represent the brand appropriately and ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide art direction to photographers, designers, and colleagues to make photo, video, and written work cohesive and impactful
  • Contribute to a respectful and collegial workplace atmosphere while actively living the Community Loan Fund’s values and advancing its mission
  • Balance multiple priorities and deadlines while working in a mission-driven, team environment
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines including fair lending and ethical behavior
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, public relations or related field
  • Minimum three years of digital marketing, social media management, or brand management experience
  • Experience and aptitude with Windows Office, Canva, content management systems, and social media
  • SEO, CRO, HTML experience a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including working with diverse teams and across organizational functions
  • Ability to convey appropriate messages in a meaningful and compelling way to represent the Community Loan Fund through various forms of public engagement to diverse groups
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities, both scheduled and ad hoc, in a dynamic organizational culture subject to ambiguous or uncertain external factors
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders/customers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of developing successful collaborations with diverse stakeholders
  • Vendor management experience
  • High fluency with Microsoft Office programs, content management systems like Craft CMS and HubSpot, and social media platforms
  • Must adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, including fair lending and ethical behavior
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits

Starting Salary of $65,000.

The Community Loan Fund’s current benefit package which includes medical and dental coverage, group life and disability options, health and dependent care, Flexible Spending Accounts and our 401(k) Plan upon completion of each plan’s eligibility requirements. Accrued vacation and sick time are offered as well as floating holidays.  These benefits are subject to modification at any time by the Community Loan Fund.
