Summary
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Credit Officer, RDF is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support its lending team in evaluating the financial health and creditworthiness of potential borrowers. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in the finance/economics/accounting field who is passionate about community development.
Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Spread and analyze financial statements in support of underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and credit review functions. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team to support credit operations and deliver high-quality work.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess financial data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools to communicate, analyze, and report efficiently in a hybrid or remote setting.
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism and integrity, in alignment with RDF’s core values and organizational culture.
- Contribute to the refinement of RDF’s credit policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Possess a solid understanding of core financial and accounting principles.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks to effectively manage workload.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the capability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, value-added, and solutions-oriented service to both internal and external clients.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote collaboration platforms, essential for success in a hybrid or fully remote work environment.
