2022 Native CDFI Awards Applications Now Open

Applications for the 2022 Native CDFI Awards are now open!
In 2019, Wells Fargo, Oweesta Corporation, and OFN launched the Native CDFI Awards to honor and support Native CDFIs that are creating opportunity and promoting sovereignty in Indian Country nationwide. Initially a three-year program, the partners extended the Awards for another year in 2022.
To advance the work of Native CDFIs, the 2022 Native CDFI Awards offer three awards:
- Two Native CDFI Catalyst Awards — $150,000 grants to two Native CDFIs with compelling strategies.
- One Native CDFI Seed Capital Award is a $75,000 grant to one emerging Native CDFI to support a strategy with great potential.
Qualifying Native CDFIs are invited to apply online by 11:59 pm ET on July 15, 2022. Applicant CDFIs do not need to be an OFN member or be in Oweesta’s portfolio to apply for a 2022 Native CDFI Award.
Award recipients will be recognized during the Native CDFI Awards Ceremony at the 2022 OFN Conference, October 18–21, in New York City. Visit the Native CDFI Awards site for complete guidelines.
