At the 2025 OFN Conference – OFN41 – in Washington, D.C. this October, members will cast votes to fill four seats on OFN’s Board of Directors. Board service is a unique opportunity to shape community finance at a time when bold, community-centered solutions can transform what’s next.
CDFIs are on the front lines of creating jobs, expanding affordable housing, and driving recovery in communities nationwide — and strong board leadership, grounded in a passion for OFN’s core mission, helps fuel this impact.
This year, eight distinguished and mission-driven leaders are on the ballot. The candidates are:
- Dr. Gene Gelgelu, Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, African Economic Development Solutions
- DeMario Greene, Director, Policy and Government Relations, Chicago Community Loan Fund
- Derric Hicks, Chief Executive Officer, Texas Mezzanine Fund, Inc.
- Titi Ikhile, Chief Program Officer, Acting Chief Lending Officer, Working Solutions, CDFI
- Henry Jiménez, President and Chief Executive Officer, Propel Nonprofits
- Kairat Mavlyankulov, Chief Executive Officer, Charter School Finance and Development
