Impact Story Competition

Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) are the financial backbone of under-invested economies. As the nation faces challenges—from housing affordability to supporting small businesses—it is essential to demonstrate that our industry has the tools and the track record to solve them. 

To highlight this success, Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) is launching the OFN National Policy Summit Impact Story Competition. We are seeking the nation’s most compelling examples of how CDFIs deploy capital to support the people and places that drive the American economy. 

These stories will take center stage at the inaugural OFN National Policy Summit, as we continue the national conversation on the importance of federal investments in community finance. These stories will also be used to continue advocacy to policymakers throughout 2026.
