Seva is an urban planning and public policy researcher and consultant, with 15+ years of experience of data-driven analytical problem solving for non-profits, public agencies, and businesses across multiple industries. He is currently Research Manager at the Pew Charitable Trusts’ Housing Policy Initiative and Research Affiliate at Occidental College’s Urban and Environmental Policy Institute. He has published 18 academic articles and nearly two dozen agency and foundation reports. He has served as Assistant Professor of Urban and Environmental Policy at Occidental College, postdoctoral scholar at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy, and management consultant at Booz & Company and PwC Strategy&. Seva holds a PhD in Urban Planning and Development from USC’s Price School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences, Economics, and Urban Studies from Northwestern University.
