Kansas City Magazine Names OFN Member President One of Region’s 50 Most Powerful People
Congratulations to Ruben Alonso III, president of OFN member AltCap based in Kansas City! Recently Kansas City publication 435 Magazine named Alonso to its list of the “50 most powerful people” in the region. Alonso joins the ranks of leaders from a wide range of industries, including education, healthcare, sports, government, and more.
One of OFN’s few members based in Kansas City, AltCap focuses its work on supporting business owners underserved by traditional financial services, particularly minority and women entrepreneurs. The OFN team recently had the pleasure of visiting Alonso and AltCap during OFN’s Regional Meeting in Kansas City where our team learned more about AltCap’s work, as well as the work they are doing through their Opportunity Zone subsidiary Equity2 LLC.
