We are looking for a Program Administrator for the ECDI Women’s Business Center of Cincinnati.

ECDI Women’s Business Centers of Ohio (WBCs) are a program of nonprofit community lender, ECDI. At the WBC we are dedicated to eliminating the obstacles women face in the world of business by providing resources, training and access to capital.

As an integral member of the WBC team, the WBC Program Administrator will assist individuals and entrepreneurs with starting and growing lasting businesses that will strengthen their communities, create jobs, and achieve their business dreams. They will perform routine office support functions, including word processing, data entry and filing, and other related duties as assigned. They will work under the direction of the Cincinnati WBC Director and with other team members to better serve clients and meet grant and program requirements.

Candidates for this position must be located in the Cincinnati area.


  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to all ECDI policies and procedures
  • Respect confidentiality in discussing customers, staff, volunteers, and organizational matters
  • Assist with client communications and provide information, including fielding phone calls, coordinating Zoom sessions, responding to emails and other digital messages, and in-person inquiries
  • Greet and inform customers on basic programs offered
  • Assists with management of client and member information, including but not limited to collecting and recording of program fees, updating, and maintaining member status, sending welcome messages, and setting appointments
  • Contribute to smooth management of office, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, signing for deliveries, and notifying recipients, assistance with upkeep of common areas, stocking supplies and maintaining inventory, assisting with printing, and other duties as assigned
  • Assist with trainings and classes, including registering clients, preparing materials including PowerPoints, researching instructors, and reporting on attendance
  • Maintain and schedule team and client bookings
  • Accurately complete activity reports, data entry, and grant reporting in a timely manner, as required by grant agreements
  • Learn and apply principles of business development, training, client service, grant management, and program development while assisting WBC team in daily activities
  • Participates in meetings with supervisor and other staff
  • Performs other related activities, as required, to assure department and organizational success

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Comprehensive knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment, and techniques
    • Proficiently communicates verbally, orally, and in writing
    • Experience with and knowledge of computer operation; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Education and/or Experience
    • High school degree or G.E.D. equivalent and 3 years of experience in program administration, assistant manager positions, or general clerical duties.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must have access to transportation in order to travel to and from the office.
    • Occasional evening and weekend hours required.
    • Typically, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time. The person in this position will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and computer printer.
    • Positions self to move items up to 15 pounds, such as printer paper boxes across the office as needed.
    • Must avoid risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
