Summary
Commonwealth is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing and Strategic Partnerships (MSP) team. This individual will execute on content, marketing, and engagement initiatives and provide day-to-day support for the MSP team, assisting with the implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns and other projects. This role will report to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, and will be part of a passionate, highly cross-functional team dedicated to supporting Commonwealth’s mission of creating systemic change for financially vulnerable people. The ideal candidate will bring high energy and enthusiasm to the position, be a skilled writer and communicator, have strong organizational skills, and be able to prioritize effectively in a fast moving environment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects through task management, organization, and disciplined communication and follow-up, using good judgment to effectively prioritize simultaneous time-sensitive requests from multiple people.
- Creatively problem-solve and collaborate with a small, results-oriented team to effectively keep projects on track toward both short-term milestones and long-term strategic objectives.
- Update monthly and quarterly marketing metrics in appropriate spreadsheets/folders, making recommendations on areas to grow and change.
- Assist in managing the implementation of marketing campaigns and providing input on development, monitoring and reporting on campaign progress and effectiveness to MSP leadership.
- Assist in project management activities including research, discovery, and marketing/launch plan creation.
- Write content that describes the work and promotes marketing efforts, communicating complex ideas to team members, partners, external audiences, and additional stakeholders in clear, concise, and compelling ways
- Support webinar planning, execution, and tech support.
- Assist with additional communications and engagement special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed, including developing slide decks to present to external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to MSP leadership.

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write persuasive verbal and written communications for different audiences.
- Aptitude for analytic reasoning, inference, and the use of data to inform decision-making, with demonstrated ability to translate findings into clear and meaningful recommendations.

- Ability to develop solutions to problems creatively as they arise and the judgment to know when to call on colleagues or a supervisor for help.
- Incessant curiosity, hustle, and willingness/speed to learn.
- Required: 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications or a related field
- Required: Expert with Google Drive (Sheets, Docs and Slides) and Asana or similar project management platform.
- Required: Experience with HubSpot CRM
- Passionate about the mission of Commonwealth and driving social change through promoting financial security and opportunity for the financially vulnerable, with the familiarity around financial technology innovations and households living on low to moderate incomes a big plus.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing a plus.
- Familiarity with racial and gender equity issues, especially related to financial security, a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
Commonwealth offers a competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience and skills. The starting range for this position is $51,500 – $56,500.
