Summary

The Program Coordinator, Advisory Services will oversee the implementation, management, and supervision of VCCSE’s advisory services and community programs throughout Virginia. Advisory services and community programs include, but are not limited to, healthy food financing programs, small business advisory programs and other community development advisory services work.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current advisory services program, develop and implement recommendations that will:
  • Clarify program objectives and leverage existing systems to track, manage and report key data points to multiple internal and external stakeholders with maximum efficiency.
  • Create multiple, distinct outcome-driven pathways through VCCSE’s offering of advisory services and financing solutions that meet customer and organizational needs.
  • Manage self-funded and grant-funded advisory services programs that deliver defined, measurable community impact in Virginia.
  • Supervise VCCSE’s staff and contracted community advisors to meet program objectives and evolving community needs.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to ensure milestones and goals established in advisory services grant support agreements are met.
  • Identify emerging programmatic areas to complement VCCSE’s products and community work.
  • Assist in identifying potential funding support for advisory services and other VCCSE programs.
  • Participate in the evaluation, preparation and submission of proposals/recommendations for clients and new engagements.
  • Support business development activities as appropriate and assigned.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to set own schedule and execute according to a plan, driving for results and effectiveness.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Prior public speaking experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a broad and diverse constituency.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement concerning community and partner relationships.
  • Positive and professional attitude; strong work ethic and resilient spirit.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
  • Desire to experiment with and lead on innovative methods for engaging communities.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings and events on evenings and weekends as needed, and to travel occasionally for work-related meetings, training, and conferences.
  • Excellent Word, Excel, and Windows file management skills mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Outlook or similar network-based email and calendar software.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other similar client relationship management software.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $72,000-$82,000 annually depending on skills and experience
