Summary

Job Overview:

LISC Treasury is seeking a Portfolio Reporting & Impact Management Analyst to support our reporting to LISC lenders and investors, impact measurement & management (IMM), and other key tasks as assigned. The analyst will assist on a range of activities and work in a collaborative, cross-team environment on projects that touch LISC’s finance, lending, IMM, and programmatic activities. The position will report to the Investor Relations & Portfolio Reporting Lead, and work closely with other members of LISC Treasury.

We are seeking a candidate committed to LISC’s mission and passionate about community development/nonprofit finance. This role provides an opportunity to grow in the CDFI and impact investing industry, and is a good fit for someone with strong organizational capabilities seeking to hone project management, data analytics, and communications skill sets.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities are anticipated to include:

Portfolio reporting

  • Support the Treasury reporting function by compiling loan portfolio data, qualitative project and impact information, and other materials for regular reporting to external and internal parties, including LISC lenders and senior staff
  • Coordinate across teams and assist with data collection efforts for LISC responses to industry surveys and funding applications
  • Provide project management support for LISC’s annual rating agency reviews from S&P and Aeris

 Investor relations

  • Provide administrative and marketing support for our impact investing program, LISC Impact Notes, including maintaining files and developing and updating communications materials (e.g., impact stories, social media, blog posts)
  • Use Salesforce to update investor records, and help identify and implement improved data quality procedures and enhanced data analytics and reports for various audiences

 Impact measurement & management

  • Cross-train on LISC’s Impact Matrix (our existing impact measurement tool) and backstop IMM functions, including conducting impact measurement and reporting on the impact of loans to LISC senior staff and leadership

 Other

  • Act as backup for cash management functions, including processing wire transfer and ACH transactions and maintaining cash activity reports.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in community development finance, lending, impact investing, impact measurement, or similar concepts
  • Strong analytical skill set and ability to work with data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills are essential. Knowledge of Salesforce desirable.
  • Well-organized with a capacity for self-direction, creative problem-solving, and success working simultaneously on multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

LISC offers a competitive salary ($67,500-$79,400, salary based on location and experience) and excellent fringe benefits.
