About the position:

The position is responsible advancing the mission of CHFA by developing the strategy and plans for external marketing campaigns and overseeing the creative development of content marketing initiatives to drive CHFA’s brand awareness. This position combines strategic and analytical expertise in developing and leading marketing programs with superb leadership qualities to mentor and coach a marketing team and build strong relationships organization-wide.



  • Develop and direct implementation of customer- and stakeholder-facing marketing strategies for a wide range of programs, products, and services.
  • With the Director, lead in the development and maintenance of agency’s brand strategy.
  • Guide creative and content strategy and development, from concept to implementation.
  • Develop effective marketing team processes and workflows.
  • Establish and maintain standards and quality controls for marketing content creation.
  • Lead team to optimize marketing channels, content, and platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content marketing strategies.
  • Define MarTech (marketing technology) roadmap and oversee implementation and optimization of enabling technology.
  • Collaborate on planning strategy, needs and vendor assessments, implementations on website and marketing of new programs.
  • Establish program KPIs and develop dashboard reporting for marketing initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of emerging digital access and engagement trends and technologies.
  • Serve as an agency-wide resource and thought partner.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a marketing team as well as manage vendor relationships.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in marketing in an agency or corporate setting. Finance, housing, or government experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have strong digital and analytics experience.
  • Deep understanding of driving marketing performance through effective content delivery and design.
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to the position, including familiarity with marketing technology solutions and corresponding business operations.
  • Superior writing, interpersonal and communication skills is necessary.
  • Strong experience mentoring and coaching a team.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary $99.847 to $131,636 (DOE)
