Background

WCRA meets Washington’s Affordable Housing, Affordable Early Learning Center Facilities, and Economic Development needs through partnership. We provide lending to projects that help further these goals.

Summary

Closing income property loans accurately to meet the requirements of member banks and in compliance with the loan approval and other WCRA requirements. This includes working with legal and title on formal documentation. These documents need to be modified and kept up to date as new programs are brought online and as existing programs change.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

Closing income property loans accurately to meet the requirements of member banks and in compliance with the loan approval and other WCRA requirements. This includes working with legal and title on formal documentation. These documents need to be modified and kept up to date as new programs are brought online and as existing programs change.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Prepare closing file for transfer to servicing officer.
  • Keep UCC filings current and in compliance.
  • Attend loan committee meetings to prepare meeting minutes for review.
  • Provide backup for the Department of Commerce Housing Trust Fund Construction Loan Review program.
  • Inspection support for the Director of Lending and President.
  • Support for Internal Loan Portfolio Reporting.
  • Special projects as requested.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, multi-family a plus.
  • Strong computer skills: Full MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, courteous, demonstrated ability to perform a support role in a small office team environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly with all members of the organization, on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of others within the workplace.
  • Paralegal or Title experience is a plus but is not required.
  • Sensitivity to social value aspects of WCRA activities.
