We bring our expertise in financial structuring to bear on difficult problems. We work with our clients to provide strategic, actionable advice, manage impact-oriented investment funds, and structure and advise on affordable housing transactions.
The position will support the firm’s work serving clients with mission-driven real estate projects, social impact investing funds, and new program development for non-profits. Clients include new social impact funds working in disinvested neighborhoods, non-profit housing developers, and public agencies.
Forsyth Street Advisors has a primary office in New York City with several staff based in the Bay Area. The firm is currently operating on a hybrid basis, with significant work performed remotely. Candidates do not have to be based in one of these metro areas but must have the ability to participate in in-person meetings at our New York City office or in the San Francisco Bay Area at least once a month. At this time, valid proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required for employees to visit or work in our New York City office.
Primary responsibilities for the position will include analysis of real estate market and financial data, producing and editing presentations and written communications for clients, and supporting preparation for client and project stakeholder meetings.
• 1-2 years relevant professional experience and bachelor’s degree in affordable housing, clean energy, economics, finance, public policy, or other related field. • Excellent quantitative, spreadsheet, and financial analytical skills.
• Strong writing and digital presentation skills.
• Strong oral communication skills in a highly interactive team setting, with a broad range of public, private, and non-profit sector clients.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range is from $70,000–80,000 per year plus substantial incentive payment. Competitive benefits including health insurance.
