About the Department:

The Information Technology department is responsible for all IT infrastructure, Cyber Security, Application Support, Software Services, Technical Support, Data Architecture and Management for Reinvestment Fund. The Information Technology department, along with Operations and Risk and Compliance, make up Reinvestment Fund’s Operations department. The Managing Directors of each of the three departments comprise the Office of the COO, a shared service department intended as an enabler and agent for positive change. The ETL Developer will be the second hire into our data group and will report directly to the Managing Director of Information technology.

Reinvestment Fund provides a flexible work arrangement that is hybrid home /office (2-days Office/3-days Remote) work arrangement. A combination of working remote and two days in a Reinvestment Fund office location will allow for face-to-face interactions. Depending on the nature of the job, a more flexible work schedule may be considered. Fully Remote work requests will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Reinvestment Fund is seeking a ETL Developer to lead in the support, documentation, enhancement and management of our enterprise data strategy. This role will assist in the development of a Data Warehouse and the support of our Analytics and Reporting Team.
• The ETL Developer must be able to quickly review and understand ETL processes, data flows, database structures, and system architecture. Process review and design along with SQL skills will also be required.
• Working with the Data Architect, this position will assist with the documentation, enhancement, and creation of data flows, transforms, and SQL analytics.
• Must be adept in reading and understanding legacy SQL code, data transforms, and system architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the integrity, security and performance of company databases.
• Identify, research, understand, document and enhance existing SQL data transformation processes.
• Provide quality customer service at all points of contact with Reinvestment Fund employees as well as answer questions and advise them regarding data needs.
• Support enterprise-wide compliance with risk standards, processes and policies
• Learn and develop in IgniteConnex and other ETL middleware for conversion of existing SQL transform processes.
• Design, develop, test, document and implement optimal data pipeline architecture and infrastructure required for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, Oracle and Big Data technologies. Develop and implement controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases
• Assist in the creating, design and ongoing maintenance and security of a new data warehouse in Azure.
• Participate in data governance and data literacy education and facilitation across the organization.
• Work with integration vendors to provide appropriate insight and data to support projects.

Requirements

Education, Experience, Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent amount of experience.
• Data Warehouse and Analytics Experience
• 5+ years related job experience.

Specialized Skills:

Required

• Experience with SQL Server to include writing and maintaining queries for BI/Analysis/Data Science, SQL Agent, SSIS/Azure Data Factory
• Familiar with: Active Directory Security Groups, Azure Storage, PowerShell
• Experience with Azure Data Platform stack: Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL
• Experience with API, SDKs, and third-party integration
• Experience with Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite
• Experience orchestrating ETL workflows and authoring pipelines using modern Software Development best practices, including automated builds, tests and deployment through scripting in SQL, Java, or Python
