Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Communications and Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic communication and marketing initiatives across the organization. This role creates compelling content and outreach strategies to position FCLF as the preferred resource for community development project financing, primarily supporting nonprofit entities and investment partnerships. This role ensures consistent organizational branding across all channels and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic communication and branding initiatives across all platforms.
- Develop compelling stories, reports, press releases, and digital content that highlight our impact and promote investor and borrower opportunities.
- Manage the FCLF website and social media channels to increase engagement and visibility.
- Monitor site performance using Google Analytics and other tools, leveraging data insights to guide enhancements and future updates.
- Regularly evaluate emerging social media platforms to assess their strategic value and potential for reaching and engaging FCLF’s digital audience.
- Coordinate events, conferences, and public appearances that showcase our work and mission.
- Proactively identify opportunities for staff participation to showcase organizational expertise, highlight key development projects, build strategic relationships, and promote community development resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.
- Promote FCLF’s mission to investors, community partners, and the public.
Requirements
- Ability to engage with diverse audiences at events, with the confidence to deliver presentations to various groups.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in both standard and customized software applications, including MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to creatively engage stakeholders with compelling storytelling while remaining concise, consistently fact-checking, and ensuring accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively meet deadlines and control large quantities of data.
- Excellent communicator who ensures efficient productivity throughout the workflow process by respectful collaboration with colleagues.
- Ability to interpret financial and impact data to prepare the annual report, create press releases, and develop marketing materials.
- Passion for community transformation and social impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field.
- 3-5 years of generalist communication experience.
- Nonprofit or community development preferred.

Hybrid Work Schedule
Salary Range – $100,500 – $125,500
