Grow with Google Small Business Fund
Overview
Minority and women-owned small businesses, and other financially underserved local businesses, continue to face unprecedented challenges as they navigate COVID-19. The Grow with Google Small Business Fund aims to help these businesses — especially those in distressed communities — survive this unprecedented crisis.
The Fund’s long-term, low-cost capital is helping OFN member community development financial institutions (CDFIs) support both the short-term recovery and long-term financing needs of the small for-profit and nonprofit businesses they serve across America. In December 2021, OFN reached full deployment of the Fund through $168.8 million in loans to member CDFIs.

Gem City Market
A new cooperative market has made its way to Dayton, OH, with the help of financing from Finance Fund Capital Corporation (FCAP). Located in a food desert near downtown Dayton, Gem City Market features affordable, quality kitchen staples, including well-stocked fresh produce and meat departments, as well as specialty, local, and organic products that will make the store a unique draw. FCAP’s funding supported initial startup costs, including working capital.
