
Adriana Hochberg

Strategy
Adriana Hochberg is passionate about building thriving communities and combatting climate change. She serves as the Opportunity Finance Network’s Senior Vice President of Environmental Programs.
Adriana most recently served as an appointee of the Biden-Harris Administration, where she led EPA’s policy office as Acting Associate Administrator and Principal Deputy Associate Administrator. She also coordinated the launch of the Office of Climate Adaptation and Sustainability and served as its acting director. This was Adriana’s second time at EPA; she previously served as a Presidential Management Fellow in the Office of Wastewater Management.
Adriana has also served in a variety of environmental management and leadership roles in local government. As Montgomery County’s Climate Change Officer, Adriana led the development and implementation of the Climate Action Plan, a strategic plan to meet the County’s ambitious greenhouse gas reduction goals. She also served as the County’s Assistant Chief Administrative Officer and as Acting Director of the County’s Department of Environmental Protection. In the District of Columbia, Adriana served in the Office of the City Administrator and as Chief of Staff in the Department of Energy and Environment.
Adriana has a Masters in Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and an undergraduate degree from Williams College. Adriana enjoys learning languages and is fluent in Portuguese and Japanese.
